Description
Lithium acetate dihydrate is used as a buffer component in the modified ninhydrin reagent for amino analysis by ion-exchange chromatography. It is used as a catalyst in organic reactions, alkyd resin and acrylic polymer production and as an anticorrosion agent in molding polyphenylene sulfide resins as well as in the separation of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids. In the pharmaceutical industry, it is utilized for the preparation of diuretics.

L’acétate de lithium dihydraté est utilisé comme composant tampon dans le réactif de ninhydrine modifié pour l’analyse des aminos par chromatographie par échanges d’ions. Il est utilisé comme catalyseur dans les réactions organiques, la production de résines alkydes et de polymères acryliques et comme agent anticorrosion dans le moulage des résines de sulfure de polyphénylène, ainsi que dans la séparation des acides gras saturés et non saturés. Dans l’industrie pharmaceutique, il est utilisé pour la préparation des diurétiques.
