Description

1-Bromo-2-butyne is used in the preparation of six to eight annulated ring compounds in reaction with indoles and pseudopterane (±)-Kallolide B, which is a marine natural product. Further, it acts as a precursor in the preparation of axially chiral teranyl compounds, alkylation of L-tryptophan methyl ester, 4-butynyloxybenzene sulfonyl chloride and mono-propargylated diene derivative. In addition to this, it is also used in the synthesis of isopropylbut-2-ynylamine, allenylcyclobutanol derivatives, allyl-[4-(but-2-ynyloxy)phenyl]sulfane, allenylindium and axially chiral teranyl compounds.

Applications
Le 1-bromo-2-butyne sert à la préparation de six à huit composés cycliques annulaires en réaction avec les indoles et le pseudoptérane (+/-)-Kallolide B, qui est un produit naturel marin. De plus, il agit comme précurseur dans la préparation de composés teranyl chiraux axialement, l’alkylation de l’ester méthylique de L-tryptophane, du chlorure de sulfonyle de 4-butynylxybenzène et du dérivé diène mono-propargylé. En outre, il sert également à la synthèse de l’isopropylbut-2-ynylamine, des dérivés allénylcyclobutanol, de l’allyl-[4-(but-2-ylyloxy)phényl]sulfane, de l’allénylindium et des composés téranyles axialement chiraux.

Solubilité
Miscible à l’acétonitrile.

Remarques
Incompatible avec les agents oxydants forts.
