Description
Thermo Scientific™ SureSTART™ Level 2 WebSeal™ 8 mm Diameter Square 96-Well Plate Sealing Mats are designed to ensure high quality data with an uninterrupted workflow for high-throughput applications using GC and HPLC/UHPLC and are ideal for regulated labs that use water and polar solvents.
These 96-well plate sealing mats are specification certified to ensure autosampler compatible physical dimensions and conform to ANSI-SLAS 4-2004 standards.
Performance Level 2 Mats – for High-Throughput Applications
- Ideal for non-regulated labs using water and polar solvents
- GC-MS and LC-MS tested
- Suitable for HPLC/UHPLC,QA/QC, and sensitive applications
- Ideal for verifying compound presence and quantification using detection techniques such as UV, DAD/PDA, RI, fluorescence, and ELSD
- Eliminate cross contamination of samples
- Resist coring and tearing
- Superior resealability after multiple injections
- WebSeal mats are manufactured from EVA (Ethylene-vinyl acetate) or pure silicone with or without a PTFE coating
- Silicone mats are dry heat autoclavable with excellent chemical compatibility, and can withstand low temperatures down to -80°C
Reduce the risk of mis-injection – To seal your plates correctly, it’s important to use the right mat
- Silicone Mats – Using a silicone mat with the correct profile reduces sample and solvent evaporation during your workflows, provides better consistency, and is ideal for long-term storage.
- Pre-slit Mats – Pre-slit mats are effective at reducing mis-injections and can be used again for confirmatory runs on the same plates without solvent loss. Their slits allow the use of pipette tips as well as multichannel pipettes.
- Adhesive Seals – Adhesive seals are effective as a one-time seal, but cannot be used for repeat runs. The exception is our three-layer re-sealing tape without glue at the cavity area.

- Level 2 products are for high-throughput applications and are suitable for regulated labs using water and polar solvents
- Level 3 products are for high performance applications and are suitable for regulated labs using all solvent types including non-polar solvents
