L-Cysteine is a food additive permitted for direct addition to food for human consumption.

La L-cystine à l’origine non animale est utilisée comme composant de milieu de culture cellulaire pour la biofabrication commerciale de protéines recombinantes thérapeutiques et d’anticorps monoclonaux. La L-cystine est utilisée comme supplément de culture cellulaire. La l-cystéine sur support protège contre ou inverse la transformation maligne et la croissance anormale chez les témoins âgés. La L-cystéine est un additif alimentaire autorisé pour un ajout direct aux aliments destinés à la consommation humaine.
Solubilité
Soluble dans l’eau (10 mg/ml), le 1N HCl (50 mg/ml) et l’éthanol.
Remarques
Sensible à l’air. Stockez-le dans un endroit frais. Garder le récipient bien fermé dans un endroit sec et bien ventilé. Conserver à l’abri de l’air.
