  • La biotine est une vitamine du complexe B hydrosoluble, également connue sous le nom de vitamine B7 ou de vitamine H. Elle se lie aux poches de liaison à la biotine de la streptavidine, de la Strep-Tactin™ et Strep-Tactin™XT avec différentes affinités.
  • Elle permet l’élution efficace des protéines hybrides Strep-tag™II ou Twin-Strep-tag™ à partir de Strep-Tactin™XT, tout en conservant la réutilisabilité de la résine.
  • Elle peut être utilisée pour la préparation du tampon d’élution Strep-Tactin™XT, Buffer BXT.
  • De plus, la biotine peut être utilisée pour l’élution de protéines biotinylées à partir de Strep-Tactin™, où elle se lie de manière irréversible à la résine - Strep-Tactin™ ne peut pas être régénérée dans ce type d’application.
