Description

1-Chloro-2,4-dinitrobenzene is used as a reagent for the detection and determination of pyridine compounds. It has been used as alkylating agent to evaluate the depletion of intracellular erythrocyte glutathione (GSH). It is an irreversible inhibitor of human thioredoxin reductase.

Applications
Le 1-Chloro-2,4-dinitrobenzène est utilisé comme réactif pour la détection et la détermination des composés pyridines. Il a été utilisé comme agent alkylant pour évaluer la déplétion du glutathion érythrocyte intracellulaire (GSH). Il s’agit d’un inhibiteur irréversible de la thiorédoxine réductase humaine.

Solubilité
Soluble dans le chloroforme, l’éther, l’alcool chaud et le benzène. Insoluble dans l’eau.

Remarques
Incompatible avec les agents oxydants forts, l’ammoniac. Réagit avec l’hydrate d’hydrazine.
